WJS Enterprises, Inc.

Wesley J. Schroeder
April 12, 1921 - November 20, 1997
WJS
Enterprises was founded in 1968 by Wesley J. Schroeder. Wes had an
extensive background in office equipment at the time he started the
company. He had been an Agency Manager for Marchant Calculator Company,
and later when Marchant merged with other companies to form SCM
Corporation he was a regional manager. He also had the vision to realize that for his company to be
successful it had to provide more than just good products. The
company had to be built on Service.
Today
WJS has grown into a multi-million dollar corporation,
servicing more than 5,000 businesses throughout Southeast Louisiana. To
accomplish this kind of growth in a highly competitive industry, WJS
provides outstanding products backed by excellent service. Our
Service Technicians have won more awards from Canon than all other Canon
Dealers in Louisiana combined! We have an "in house" factory
authorized trainer, so that our technicians can be cross trained on more
equipment to better serve our customers. Cy Hosch assumed the position
of President in January of 1994 and continues the philosophies and traditions
established..
WJS
has been involved with full color copiers since 1987 when we provided
and serviced a beta site in for Canon's digital color laser copier. Today's Color
Laser Copiers provide much more than great looking copies, most systems are
initially installed with full network printing and scanning capability.
Digital
Copiers are not new to us. WJS
Enterprises spotted the digital potential early on and ten
years ago brought in house a person with years of computer and network
experience for pre and post sales support as well as training of other
WJS employees. In July of 1991,when Electronics for
Imaging (EFI) was displaying their first Print Controller
Product (Fiery) at the National Office
Machine Dealers Association meeting, in New Orleans, WJS was there
servicing the equipment. Today we offer Digital Products in virtually
all speed categories for both Color and Black and White needs, backed by
a quality of service and support that only comes from experience.
Through
the 35 years of operation the products
have certainly changed. But one constant has remained the same, Wes' vision to have his company built on service. And to that
goal, WJS Enterprises continues to make the commitment necessary to
provide the best service available
